Topic of your Task: Understanding the Sepoy Rebellion
Time Frame: 1-2 days

2. Why did European nations conflict over the establishing of colonies in Africa, Asia, & Oceania?
3. Which European countries controlled which lands?
SC Social Studies Standards: 7-3 The students will demonstrate an understanding of independence movements that occurred throughout the world from 1770 through 1900.
SC Social Studies Indicators for this Standard: 7-3.6 Explain reactions to imperialism that resulted from growing nationalism, including the Zulu wars, the Sepoy Rebellion, the Opium Wars, the Boxer Rebellion, and the Meiji Restoration.

Your Task:
After watching the video as a class, you will have the opportunity to watch the video again to take any notes you feel necessary for your task. Your task is to create a study guide of facts, dates, etc. on the Sepoy Rebellion. You will essentially be creating a test from your notes. The teacher will in turn use your input to create your test for this section.
